Dr. Chloe Raftery is a native of San Francisco, California who graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Psychology. After college, she spent many years working in the veterinary field before obtaining her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. Before working at District Vet she worked at a busy general practice in Whittier, California.
Dr. Raftery’s experiences include working with dogs, cats as well as exotic animals. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, oncology, internal medicine and client education. She also has her Certificate of Veterinary Acupuncture (cva) from Chi University and has an interest in using acupuncture as a method for pain control.
In her free time, Dr. Raftery enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with her dog and two cats Oz, Willow and Rupert and exploring everything DC has to offer.
