Dr. Yuri Lee was born in Busan, South Korea prior to moving and spending the rest of her childhood in the DFW area in Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and later graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. She also received a Shelter Medicine Certificate during her time at KSU, and she continues to be passionate about helping both owned and unowned animals.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the idea of “One Health”, that health and well-being are multi-factorial, and she wishes not only to provide care for animals, but to supply clients with information, tools, and compassion needed to assure a proper veterinarian-client-animal bond.
Dr. Lee only recently moved to the DMV area so she is getting used to the lovely scenery- when the weather permits, she plans on doing lots of hiking and trail walking. During her free time, she enjoys reading, playing videogames, or hanging out with Gandalf (her handsome kitten).
